VP – Loans – Community Bank, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands

A senior supervisory position reporting directly to the President and CEO.

The position would be responsible for the efficient delivery of loan services to customers of the bank and the continued maintenance of the high quality of the loan book of the bank. The successful candidate is likely to have previously carried out a similar role in a US regulated bank.

-         Extensive loan service and underwriting experience covering residential real estate, light commercial and commercial real estate lending.

-         Successful record in supervising staff in a loan department and arranging work schedules, vacations etc., to ensure consistently high service levels.

-         Familiarity with the regulatory and compliance requirements connected to all bank lending.

-         Good interpersonal, written and computer skills to deal with a complete range of  loan related customer enquiries received in person, by phone or in writing.

-         Good interpersonal skills to successfully manage junior staff and act as a member of the management team with daily interaction with all personnel up to the President.

-         Remuneration package will reflect experience.
