- Accounting Lecturer
Description
Reporting to the Director of the School of Accountancy, the Accounting Lecturer requires teaching undergraduate accounting courses and service responsibilities. The position is a full time 10-month appointment beginning August 1, 2026, and the salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Earned master’s degree in accounting, or a closely related field, with at least 18 graduate semester hours in accounting
Evidence of the potential for above average teaching ability.
Evidence of effective communication skills.
Willingness to engage with institutional student success initiatives.
Commitment to engaging with best practice initiatives in instruction and pedagogy, mentoring, and curriculum design and development.
Preferred Qualifications:
Related professional experience
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFE, CIA, and CISA)
