ABOUT SOUTHEASTERN FREE WILL BAPTIST COLLEGE
Southeastern Free Will Baptist College (SFWBC) is a Christ-centered institution located in Wendell, North Carolina. Our mission is to train men and women for church-related ministries and Christian leadership, preparing them for a life of faithful service in both ministry and professional vocations.

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a part-time Adjunct Instructor to teach in our undergraduate Business Administration program during the Spring 2026 semester. The position may be taught on campus or online, depending on candidate availability and qualifications.
Courses to be assigned:
- BU 111 – Principles of Accounting
- BU 302 – Intermediate Accounting II
Each course is 3 credit hours and meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in 50-minute sessions (for on-campus instruction).
A candidate is sought for one or both classes.
Start Date: January 14, 2026
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- A master’s degree in Business or a related field from an accredited institution
or - A master’s degree in any field with 18+ graduate credit hours in Business, Accounting, or a related discipline
- Willingness to integrate biblical worldview and faith principles into course content
- Preferred:
- Teaching experience at the college level (in-person or online)
- Experience using McGraw-Hill Connect or similar online course platforms
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver course content with clarity and academic integrity
- Prepare syllabi, lectures, assignments, and assessments
- Maintain accurate records of student grades and attendance
- Engage students with professionalism and care—reflecting Christ in classroom interaction
- For online delivery: Ensure course design and communication are accessible, timely, and effective using the selected online platform
COMPENSATION
Compensation ranges from $3,000 to $4,500 per 3-credit course, depending on credentials and
experience.
