Adolescent Medicine/DYS, Nurse Practitioner-UMass Memorial Health
Worcester, MA
The Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics is recruiting a Nurse Practitioner to join a talented, harmonious interdisciplinary team of adolescent medicine Providers. This position includes adolescent/young adult subspecialty care for eating disorders, gender affirming care, adolescent gynecology, and youth in juvenile justice.
About our division:
Division has been active for forty years in community outreach programs, particularly within the realms of juvenile justice healthcare, and adolescent reproductive health.
Division is dynamic and growing, particularly in expansion of multidisciplinary care for adolescents suffering with eating disorders.
Position Qualifications:
- A Master’s degree and graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Board Certification by the National Certification Corporation.
- Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration and federal DEA Controlled Substance Registration are required.
- Strong commitment to serving underserved communities, equitable family-centered care, and diversity and inclusion.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Experience with research, quality improvement, and program development and coordination is preferred.
