Description

A new role has been created at the APAC headquarters of a medium sized Investment Bank in Asia. Reporting to the head of Asia, this role will lead and support audit across different markets aligned with the risk and control framework of the bank

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support internal audits across Asia across different regulators requirements
• Conduct walkthroughs and interviews to understand business processes and assess control effectiveness.
• Identify control gaps, document findings, and collaborate with stakeholders to define remediation plans.
• Prepare clear, concise audit documentation and contribute to Board-level reporting.
• Stay informed on regulatory developments and work closely with global audit teams and external consultants

Key skills

• Strong track record in Internal Audit in Capital Markets in a large Bank with Equities and Fixed Income knowledge
• Ability to navigate different markets in Asia and manage senior stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with data analytics in audit is a plus.
