Are you detail-oriented, driven, and passionate about setting the gold standard in client due diligence? My client is seeking an AVP/VP, Client Onboarding to join their dynamic team and play a pivotal role in delivering a seamless and compliant onboarding experience for high-net-worth clients.

• This opportunity is well-suited for someone who is already leading a team or is ready to step up into a leadership role.

• Responsibilities
• Own the end-to-end client onboarding process for Private Banking clients
• Review new account documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Ensure onboarding files meet internal CDD and regulatory standards
• Evaluate the quality and credibility of Source of Wealth information
• Conduct name screening, assess adverse media and sanctions exposure
• Maintain accurate documentation of all client communications
• Provide advisory support to the frontline on CDD policies and local regulations
• Escalate high-risk or reputational concerns to Compliance as needed
• Collaborate closely with Legal, Compliance, and Tax functions
• Contribute to continuous improvement in onboarding controls and processes

• Requirements
• At least 8 years of experience in AML/KYC and client onboarding, ideally in Private Banking
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements; ACAMS certification is a plus
• Exceptional communication skills-Mandarin proficiency preferred
• A client-centric mindset, strong professional integrity, and a collaborative attitude
