AVP/VP - Fund Accounting Business Change & Operations Manager

Overview:

A leading international financial institution is seeking an experienced Fund Accounting Manager to join its Singapore FA Operations team. The role focuses on driving business change initiatives and supporting daily fund accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong client service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead fund accounting business change events (e.g., new fund launches, mergers, share class creations, closures) on behalf of the FA team
• Manage IT and non-IT change requests, including business analysis, documentation, UAT, and implementation.
• Oversee project management tasks (plans, RAID logs, stakeholder coordination, reporting).
• As a secondary responsibility, support daily fund accounting operations, including NAV oversight, audit liaison, and client servicing.
• Draft and monitor SLAs, operational manuals, and contribute to global operating model improvements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• At least 7 years' hands-on experience within Fund Accounting / Fund Administration in an Operations role
• Strong knowledge of fund launches, performance fees, swing pricing, and accounting practices.
• Experience with Multifonds accounting system required.
• Strong project management, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Due to the frequent need to engage with Chinese clients (e.g. Chinese sovereign wealth funds), fluency in Business Mandarin is an advantage.
