As a Business Analyst/ Consultant you will have the opportunity to collaborate with clients across a range of engagements. Responsibilities

• Involvement in all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure
• Leading business transformation projects or IT change projects
• Building and developing business cases
• Gathering and analysing requirements
• Owning and delivering business and functional requirements
• Documenting Business Requirements Specifications/Document (BRD)
• Presenting/Communicating BRD findings to client stakeholders
• Managing stakeholders on different levels and in various business areas

Skills & Experience

• Capital Markets industry
• Proven experience in business and functional requirements gathering
• Excellent data-handling skills
• Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle, with experience in testing
• Familiarity with the front-to-back processing required in Capital Markets businesses
• Practical, technical experience in helping developers to produce a quality product

Industry knowledge

Experience in at least one of the following areas:

• Primary and Secondary Markets
• Asset Classes (Cash Equities, Equity Derivatives, Futures & Options, Fixed Income, Bonds, Swaps)
• Front Office, Middle Office
• Pre-Trade Management, Pre-Trade Analytics, Pre-Trade Risk Controls
• Post-Trade Management
• Operational Risk, Credit/Counterparty Risk, Market Risk
• Client Connectivity, Venue/Exchange Connectivity
• High Frequency Trading
• Order Management Systems (OMS), Execution Management Systems (EMS), Risk Management Systems, Back Office Systems, Settlement Systems
• Fidessa, ION, ULLink, Calypso, Murex, FIX, Itivity

Qualifications:

• Minimum bachelor degree or equivalent
• BCS Business Analysis or comparable (nice-to-have)
• Prince2 or comparable project management methodology experience (nice-to-have)
