Description
We are currently seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our healthcare team between June 13th and August 13th. You’ll live on-site and play a vital role in the wellbeing of our campers and staff, all while enjoying the beauty of Maine’s Lakes Region. A minimum of two-week commitment is preferred, but we will consider one week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care for campers and staff in the Health Center
- Host daily clinic hours (morning and afternoon)
- Administer and manage medications
- Respond to injuries, illnesses, and camp “emergencies”
- Maintain accurate health logs for all campers and staff
- Promote healthy habits and injury prevention across camp
As a Camp Nurse at Wawenock, you will be supported by:

Requirements
Requirements:
- Current RN license (Maine or compact state)
- CPR certification and First Aid proficiency
- Minimum Nursing Experience of 1 year
- Experience working with children preferred
