POSITION DETAIL

Located in Germantown, Maryland, SkyPoint Federal Credit Union, with over $208 million in assets, is currently in search of an accounting and finance executive to serve as their Chief Financial Officer.  Reporting directly to the President/CEO, this individual oversees general accounting, financial reporting, asset liability management, risk management, and budgeting. Additionally, the selected candidate will lead a team responsible for plastic products and ACH operations. The ideal candidate will be very comfortable in assuming a role with both tactical and strategic responsibilities.  The successful candidate will have five plus years of experience leading accounting and finance operations, be well-versed in general accounting practices, and have experience with profitability analysis and modeling.  A fundamental understanding of lending and grant writing experience is a plus.  Bachelor’s degree required.
