Are you a strategic financial leader ready to make a lasting impact? Our client, a well-established and community-focused credit union is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and innovate across all financial operations of a trusted financial institution.
As CFO, you will work closely with the President/CEO to shape the financial future of the organization. This is a highly visible role that oversees accounting, investment strategy, asset/liability management, back-office card operations, and more. We're looking for a forward-thinking leader with a collaborative spirit and deep expertise in financial services.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Lead the credit union’s investment portfolio, cash management, ALM tools, budget forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
Oversee all accounting operations, including GL systems, ACH, member wires, and share draft processing.
Evaluate financial controls, procedures, staff performance, and regulatory reporting.
Manage credit and debit card back-office operations and digital service platforms such as bill pay and ATM/check image networks.
Serve as a key liaison with regulatory bodies and external auditors.
Support strategic planning and ensure timely communication with the CEO and Board on financial matters.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: 8–10 years of progressive leadership experience in finance, within a credit union or financial institution. Credit Union preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s degree; CPA or Master’s degree a plus.
Leadership: Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams, motivate others, and drive operational excellence.
Technical Skills: Proficient in GAAP, ALM tools, and financial software; strong command of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and industry systems like TranZact.

Compensation: The starting salary range for this role is $170K - $200K, with a comprehensive and competitive benefits package.
