Description
As a Vice President on the DACH M&A team, you will partner with colleagues in industry and product teams to originate and execute the full spectrum of corporate finance transactions including public takeovers, private buy-side and sell-side transactions and corporate carve-outs.Job responsibilities
- Act as the primary day-to-day client point of contact and lead banker on deals
- Review and coordinate the analytic work of junior bankers to advance the marketing/execution process
- Train junior bankers to enhance their skills and performance
- Refine marketing and execution materials for maximum client impact
- Oversee the creation of financial projection models.
- Identify and manage all risks in a given deal
- Liaise with other internal and external parties on transactions (e.g., lawyers, accountants, counterparties)
- Lead client negotiations, Q&A processes, and management interviews
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Fluency in German
- Relevant M&A Investment Banking experience and knowledge of German market
- Outstanding financial analysis and modelling skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines
- Solid communication and project management skills
- In-depth understanding of investment banking products
- Experience dealing with clients and other transactional
- Proficient in MS office applications and experience of Bloomberg and Factset
