Graves County ASAP is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing substance misuse and its impact on our community. Through prevention, advocacy, education, and community partnerships, we work to build a future where individuals and families can thrive free from the harm of substance abuse.
The Development and Financial Coordinator will lead fundraising and financial efforts to support Graves County ASAP’s mission of reducing substance abuse in the community. This role focuses on increasing fundraising capacity, executing development strategies, managing finances, and supporting strategic initiatives. The coordinator reports to the Executive Director.
- Fundraising & Development: Create and execute strategies to increase revenue, identify opportunities, and coordinate campaigns to meet financial goals.
- Volunteer Engagement: Recruit, guide, and work with volunteers to sustain donor relationships and fundraising efforts.
- Event Leadership: Plan and manage fundraising events, including budgeting, vendor contracts, and volunteer committees.
- Financial Management: Maintain 501(c)(3) status, manage reporting requirements, oversee reimbursements, ordering, check writing, and coordinate with the Fiscal Agent for financial tasks.
- Grant Reporting: Collaborate with the Evaluator to complete grant and opioid abatement fund reports.
- Organizational Support: Assist with additional tasks to ensure organizational success.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Business, Nonprofit Management, or related field or 2 years of equivalent experience.
- Proven fundraising and nonprofit development experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Docs and QuickBooks.
- Commitment to substance-free living and random drug screenings.
- Travel: Required for trainings, some overnight stays, and occasional evening/weekend meetings (expenses reimbursed).
- Terms: Full-time, 40 hours/week with flexible scheduling as needed.
- Salary: $35,000 with merit raises based on annual performance review.
