Join our dynamic team as a Vice President in Global Corporate Banking's EMEA Planning & Analysis (P&A) team. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive financial strategy and decision-making across the firm. You will be at the forefront of financial analysis, partnering with senior leaders to enhance profitability and efficiency. Your expertise will shape the future of our financial planning and analysis efforts.As a Vice President in the EMEA Planning & Analysis team, you will lead comprehensive financial planning, reporting, and analysis efforts. You will collaborate with business heads and CFOs to drive strategic initiatives and decision-making. Your role will focus on delivering value-added insights and innovative reporting solutions to support business success.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Oversee the annual planning cycle for EMEA GCB business.
- Create innovative reporting solutions for senior business heads and CFOs.
- Provide key metrics to measure business performance and benchmark against competitors.
- Collaborate with EMEA GCB Bankers and Business Management on strategic initiatives.
- Drive expense management agenda with country and regional business managers.
- Lead and develop a cross-regional team, fostering deep knowledge in financial reporting.
- Serve as a key representative in calls with senior management.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Enhance controls and streamline processes using automation tools like Alteryx and Python.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a technical subject.
- Relevant work experience in Financial Services or accounting/controller background.
- Strong storytelling and presentation building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly motivated and able to thrive under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Integrity in handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Team player with the ability to be respected as a trusted partner.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Alteryx, Python, and Tableau skills.
- Experience in financial control and strategic analysis.
- Ability to craft innovative strategic solutions.
- Experience in developing new reporting capabilities.
