Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Compliance:
Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
Ensure compliance with all local statutory and regulatory requirements for financial reporting.
Coordinate and manage external audits, serving as the primary point of contact.
Financial Management & Analysis:
Develop and maintain robust financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and explanations.
Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
Oversee cash flow management, forecasting, and treasury operations.
Manage and optimize working capital.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles.
Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and assumptions for planning.
Team Leadership & Development (if applicable):
Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team (if applicable).
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the finance department.
System & Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to enhance financial systems, processes, and reporting efficiency.
Participate in the implementation of new financial software or tools as required.
Stakeholder Communication:
Present financial results and insights to senior management and other stakeholders.
Collaborate effectively with other departments to achieve company objectives.
Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar senior finance role within the Financial Services industry is essential.
Demonstrable expertise in preparing and reporting financial statements under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is mandatory.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements in Bulgaria.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
Proficiency in financial management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, etc.).
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Fluent in both English and Bulgarian (written and spoken).
High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
