I am currently partnering with a PE backed Infrastructure company looking for a Financial Controller to come and join the growing team. This is a newly created role due to growth and you will have 3 direct reports. You will full ownership of the Cost Center for the business while reporting into the Group Finance Director.
This role will have lots of exposure across the business and you will need to be comfortable working with the SLT. For this role you need the gravitas to deal with difficult stakeholders and be able to push back.
Some of your responsibilities include;
• Team Leadership: Supervising and mentoring a team of management accountants and other finance staff. This includes managing workloads, performance, and professional development.

• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Overseeing the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts, budgets, and forecasts. This includes conducting detailed variance analysis and providing commentary on financial performance to budget holders and senior management.

• Budgeting and Forecasting: Leading the organization's annual budgeting process and long-term financial planning. They work with various departments to develop realistic financial plans and monitor performance against them.

• Strategic Support: Providing financial advice to support key business decisions, such as capital projects, new investments, and cost reduction initiatives. You'll act as a business partner to other departments, helping them understand the financial implications of their actions.

• Process Improvement: Developing and implementing robust financial systems and procedures to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

This is a very interesting role where you will have lots of opportunities for growth and progression, my client is growing massively at the moment with the option of either an IPO or an Exit which is super excitng to be involved in as well.
Salary is competitive + bonus and a strong pension. Please note This role you will be required to go into the office 5 days per week.
