Robert Half Financial Services has partnered with a City of London based Reinsurance start-up firm to hire Financial Controller. The Financial Controller will be the first finance hire and will report directly to the two founders of the business. They will have broad remit including financial controller and reporting, treasury and liquidity management and group reporting. In time, the finance team will grow.

The Candidate

The successful Financial Controller for this City of London based Reinsurance start up will be a qualified accountant with at least 6 years of experience. Strong understand of UK accounting standards is a must; exposure to US GAAP is desirable but essential. The successful candidate will ideally come from an insurance or reinsurance background but this is not essential.

My client is a small but growing reinsurance firm with head quartered in London.

Salary and Benefits

The successful Financial Controller will earn a salary of £80,000-£120000 (highly dependent on experience) plus a competitive bonus and benefits package.
