Managing Litigation Attorney – Creditors’ Rights & Financial Services
Kahane & Associates, P.A., a distinguished multi-jurisdictional law firm with a reputation for excellence in consumer finance litigation, foreclosure, and creditors’ rights, is actively seeking an accomplished and strategic Managing Litigation Attorney to lead its Florida litigation practice. This is a rare opportunity for a tenured attorney with at least 10 years of focused experience representing secured and unsecured creditors in complex litigation to assume a visible leadership role at one of the region’s most respected firms.

As we continue to expand our footprint throughout the Southeast, we require a litigation leader who can mentor talent, deliver superior legal outcomes, and collaborate closely with firm leadership to drive performance and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the firm’s contested litigation practice, including trial strategy, case development, attorney oversight, and resource allocation.
- Serve as lead counsel in high-stakes litigation involving foreclosure, consumer and commercial collection, and lender liability defense.
- Supervise a team of attorneys and paralegals across Florida, ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and ethical compliance are met.
- Appear in court regularly to argue dispositive motions, evidentiary hearings, and trials.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with firm standards, court protocols, and client directives.
- Conduct in-depth reviews of case strategy, pleadings, discovery, and settlement negotiations.
- Participate in firm management meetings, business planning, and attorney development programs.
- Act as client-facing liaison on key matters, including performance reviews, litigation status, and operational alignment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years’ litigation experience, with a focus on representing creditors in state and federal courts throughout Florida. Multi-jurisdictional experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated success as a first-chair litigator handling contested foreclosure, collections, title disputes, and other creditor-based litigation.
- Excellent knowledge of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure, evidentiary rules, and trial practice.
- Prior experience supervising and mentoring attorneys and legal support staff is required.
- Strong legal drafting and courtroom advocacy skills, coupled with a strategic mindset and client-oriented approach.
- Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar. Admission to the Georgia Bar is a significant plus as the firm continues to expand regionally.
