JOB DESCRIPTIONAtlantic Health is Seeking a Nurse Practitioner for Obesity/Metabolic Medicine in Summit, NJ
Atlantic Health, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking an Obesity/Metabolic Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join Atlantic Medical Group Metabolic Medicine. This full-time position, Monday-Friday, and is based in Summit, New Jersey.
This is a unique opportunity to join an expanding department focused on the comprehensive care of patients with obesity and related metabolic conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience in the medical management of weight-related conditions, including weight loss management, medication, and interpretation of nutrition-related labs. The practice is supported by a collaborative team, including a registered dietitian.
Summit is a desirable suburban community offering excellent schools, a direct train line to New York City, and a vibrant downtown filled with restaurants, shops, and cultural amenities.

QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications
- Graduated from accredited NP program
- Master's degree required
- 2-3 years of APN experience (Primary Care, IM/FM)
- New graduates welcome to apply!
- Certificate of Advanced Education in Obesity Medicine, or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
