Nurse Practitioner - Pulmonary (Outpatient)

Location: Baylor Scott & White Clinic - Temple, TX
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
No Call | No Weekends | No Holidays

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing Pulmonary Medicine team at our outpatient clinic in Temple, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic, collaborative team that prioritizes compassionate, high-quality care.
Position Highlights:

• Outpatient only - no nights, weekends, holidays, or call requirements
• Independent management of patients in clinic, with close collaboration with pulmonary physicians and care team
• Potential for minor procedures, such as chest tube removal
• Pulmonary experience preferred but not required - training and mentorship provided
• Join a well-established department within a nationally recognized healthcare system

Qualifications:

• Current license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Ability to work autonomously in an outpatient setting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Pulmonary or internal medicine experience is a plus, but new graduates are welcome to apply

QUALIFICATIONS

• EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program
• EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION

• Basic Life Support (BLS): Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• Nurse Practitioner (NP): Must have a NP license through the state of TX.
