Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner
Tampa, FL
Compensation: $140,000+ with Full Benefits
About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our established and growing pediatric practice in Tampa, Florida. Led by a team of expert pediatricians, our clinic provides top-quality care to a diverse patient population. We specialize in routine pediatric services such as well-child visits, immunizations, and sports physicals, all delivered with a personalized touch.
Our mission is to create a welcoming, family-centered environment that delivers prompt and high-quality care tailored to each child's individual needs.
Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Active unencumbered Nurse Practitioner state license
- Graduate from a fully accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- One year of work experience as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
- One year of EMR experience
- Board Certified
- 2 + years experience NP pediatric outpatient
- Bilingual - Spanish Speaking (preferred/ not required)
- Passion for providing high-quality, patient-centered pediatric care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
Requirements:
• COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
Responsibilities:
Patient Volume: Average 25 patients per day
Support Team Includes: Front Desk, Scheduler, Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), and one MD
