Bestica is seeking a PICU Registered Nurse (PRN) to provide service in support of the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, VA.

PRN - Shifts are normally scheduled between 0645 - 1915 and 1845- 0715.

ON-CALL The employee shall provide on-call coverage for one shift, every 12 weeks rotating

• RNs must have an Associates or Bachelor's degree (preferred) from an ACEN or CCNE accredited Nursing program
• RN shall have a full and unrestricted license in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia
• must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively apply all aspects of the nursing process within a collaborative, interdisciplinary practice setting.

• A minimum of eighteen (18) months of full-time experience as an RN working in a PICU within the last twenty-four (24) months.
• Possess and maintain BLS (Basic Life Support) (American Heart Association)
• Possess and maintain ACLS certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• Possess and maintain PALS certification (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• Possess and maintain NRP certification (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Possess and maintain S.T.A.B.L.E. certification (Sugar, Temperature, Blood Pressure, Labs and Emotional Support)
