Description
As the Product Manager for Business Banking, you will spearhead the development and adoption of digital solutions to onboard and engage corporate clients on Renmoney's web and mobile platforms. You'll own the product vision for business banking, delivering features like business accounts, SME loans, bulk payments, and invoicing to meet the unique needs of Nigerian businesses. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll drive revenue growth, ensure regulatory compliance, and create intuitive user journeys that redefine SME banking.Job Description
- Product Strategy - define and own the product roadmap for business banking, aligning with Renmoney's digital-first strategy and SME growth objectives. Propose innovative features like cash flow tools or API integrations to stay ahead of market trends.
- Corporate Onboarding - Design seamless digital onboarding journeys for SMEs and corporate clients on web and mobile, ensuring compliance with KYC/AML, CBN, NDIC, and NIBSS regulations. Optimize conversion rates across funnels.
- Feature Development - Lead end-to-end development of high-impact features (e.g., business account dashboards, user role management, bulk payments, invoicing, transaction insights, SME loans). Test and scale solutions with engineering and design teams.
- Stakeholder Collaboration - Partner with Engineering, Design, Compliance, Risk, Sales, and Distribution to align features with client needs. Work with Ops and Customer Service to ensure backend scalability and support.
- Analytics & Iteration - Leverage customer feedback, funnel data, and tools like Amplitude to drive decisions. Run A/B tests to improve adoption, engagement, and retention. Track KPIs like transaction volume and feature usage.
- Regulatory Alignment - Ensure all products comply with Nigerian financial regulations. Participate in risk reviews and policy formulation to maintain trust and security.
- Adoption & Growth - Collaborate with Sales to drive client acquisition and engagement. Optimize user journeys to boost business account activations and transaction volumes.
Requirements
- 4+ years in product management, with 2+ years in SME/business banking, fintech, or digital financial services
- Proven success launching digital onboarding or transaction products
- Strong knowledge of SME financial needs (e.g., lending, payments, KYC, invoicing)
- Ability to translate business problems into technical requirements
- Excellent communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders
