Job Summary | This position is located off-campus in Hazard, KY. The QA Nurse ensures high-quality, patient-centered care by leading quality improvement, compliance, and patient safety initiatives across medical, behavioral health, and dental services. Serving both the North Fork Valley Clinic in Hazard and the June Buchanan Medical Clinic in Hindman, the QA Nurse works closely with providers, staff, and the Medical Director to drive improvements in clinical outcomes and operational performance. This role leads quality improvement projects, monitors performance metrics, and ensures compliance with HRSA, federal, state, and grant requirements. The QA Nurse also conducts audits and risk assessments, trains staff on quality and safety practices, and supports UDS reporting and value-based care initiatives, helping the clinics deliver coordinated, effective, and patient-focused care.
