Location: 3 Vermont Dr New Hyde Park, NY 11042
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week. Variable schedule Monday - Friday between 6:00am & 5:00pm
Specialty: Endoscopy
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provides care in the individual and group setting
- Works closely with the staff and providers to identify patients that require education and monitoring services
- Assesses patients for their learning needs, follows them appropriately and documents in the patient electronic medical records
- Utilizes the curriculum developed for the care of patients
- Provides professional and courteous care to patients
- Comply with health and safety requirements and with regulatory agencies such as DPH, etc.
- Comply with established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives
- Enhance professional growth and development through educational programs, seminars, etc.
- Perform other similar and related duties as required or directed by manager
- Administer age appropriate vaccines as directed by physician
- Perform CLIA waived tests on patients
- Venipuncture

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Active and unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of New York
- ACLS certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- BLS certification
- Proven knowledge of various software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
- Familiarity working with electronic medical records
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN, MSN)
- 3+ years nursing experience
- Epic EMR experience
- Experience working in a procedural or ambulatory surgery suite
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $28.27 to $50.48 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
