We are seeking an individual with 2 years of Labor & Delivery or Critical Care experience for this role.

Riley Children's Health provides mothers and babies with a full continuum of high-quality, expert health care. Those services include a full spectrum of maternal and fetal medicine services, including an array of fetal diagnostic procedures and highly specialized fetal surgeries. The RN in this role will be in the Riley Maternity Tower at Riley Children's Hospital. Under one roof, the Riley Maternity Tower includes 13 labor and delivery rooms, 3 intensive-care rooms, 14 high risk antepartum rooms, 10 emergency rooms, 4 operating rooms, 6 bay PACU, and infant-resuscitation rooms.

- Shift: Fulltime Nights
Nursing skills gained on this unit:
- Critical Care Assessment and Device Training
- Obstetrics Nursing Assessment and Device Training
- Emergency and Rapid Response Assessment
- Adult and Neonatal Resuscitation
- Assist with procedures such as: neonatal delivery, complex OR cases, OB hemorrhage management, central line placement, bronchoscopy, intubation, and more
- Fostering support for patients and family with bereavement care.

- Robust involvement in unit and system level shared governance

Qualifications
- Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
- Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
- Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
- Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
