The Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center 6CC Oncology units include:
- Oncology: This unit specializes in leukemia and symptom management. With 40 beds, the unit supports long patient stays, fostering strong relationships with patients and families. It features a well-developed onboarding process for new staff.
- Surgical Oncology: This unit has 40 beds and provides care for a range of surgeries, including both cancer-related and non-cancer procedures. It covers various surgical services such as OR, tracheostomies, chest tubes, drains, ENT, and thoracic surgeries.

Job Summary
Provides nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Lead and direct other assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with nursing standards of care and practice.
What You'll Need
- 1+ years of RN experience
- Graduation from accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
- Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina Board of Nursing
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 1 year of hire, per unit guidelines
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 1 year of hire, per unit guidelines
Pay Range
$34.90 - $52.35
