What You’ll Do
As a Registered Nurse (Safety), you’ll play a vital role in both patient care and facility safety. Your responsibilities will include:
- Direct Patient Care: Deliver hands-on nursing care and treatments to diverse patient populations.
- Team Supervision: Guide and support nursing staff, promoting teamwork and quality standards.
- Medical Support: Assist physicians and perform independent nursing duties within your scope of practice.
- Safety Oversight: Monitor patient conduct, ensure facility security, and intervene in behavioral incidents as needed.
- Care Coordination: Participate in planning, evaluating, and implementing nursing care plans across shifts.
- Training: Help mentor and develop new or less experienced nursing staff.
Minimum Qualifications
- A valid California license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
Key Skills & Knowledge
- Solid understanding of professional nursing principles, hospital procedures, and safety protocols.
- Strong observation, documentation, and assessment skills.
- Ability to manage both clinical duties and custody-related responsibilities.
Special Requirements
- Pre-employment Drug Screening and Background Check are required.
- Must be able to work in a structured, secure environment.
