About the Function

Our Finance team deliver sustainable growth for our business, customers, and much-loved brands. We're part of a $12.2 billion gross profit organisation, responsible for driving an exceptional level of performance and creating the potential for future growth.

Whether we're utilising our digital capabilities and analytics to inform our business strategy or creating capacity to invest in the future - no two days are the same in our Finance team. Responsibilities

• Lead the annual OPEX budget and actual processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct monthly OPEX variance analyses by comparing Actual vs AOP vs Outlook, and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Collaborate closely with all departments to ensure budget discipline and act as a business partner to HR.
• Proactively identify cost variances and develop corrective action plans and optimization recommendations.
• Deliver alternative strategies to senior management through "what-if" scenarios and risk analyses.
• Ensure OPEX expenses are managed in line with company policies and financial controls.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes within Diageo systems with the required quality and deadlines.
• Drive process improvement initiatives in financial planning and reporting to enhance efficiency.
• Utilize data visualization tools such as Power BI to develop dynamic reporting dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or Economics.
• 2-4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong command of English (written and spoken).
• Proficiency in MS Office and advanced knowledge of SAP.
