We're seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage critical reinsurance operations and drive continuous improvement in our processes while delivering exceptional service to our clients.
About the Role:
As a TA & CL Operations Specialist I, you'll take ownership of end-to-end reinsurance accounts and claims management, ensuring contractual fulfillment and business deliverables through your deep understanding of reinsurance conditions. You'll be the trusted steward of an assigned portfolio, building valuable relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage technical accounting and claims with advanced expertise and subject matter focus
- Build and maintain relationships with external and internal clients for your assigned accounts
- Analyze portfolio composition including Types of Business, Lines of Business, and volume metrics
- Monitor and evaluate performance against KPIs, initiating corrective actions to meet quality standards
- Execute operational duties including accounting, booking, collection, cash allocation, claim handling and payment
- Participate in improvement projects and special initiatives, demonstrating leadership when opportunities arise
- Support team development by identifying training needs and providing assistance to colleagues
- Drive process improvement by analyzing procedures and suggesting efficiency enhancements
- Maintain system integrity by entering contractual information for use by Finance, Accounting, Claims and Reserving teams
About the Team:
You will join a very experienced and highly motivated Operations team handling Reinsurance portfolios for diverse regions. Our responsibilities require regular interactions with peers and experts from other locations. We have a strong link to the other Operations teams and collaborate daily to deliver best service and most value to our clients. With our continuous improvement mindset our aim is to provide our external clients and internal partners with fast, easy, and effective ways of conducting business within an environment where the risks are understood.
About You:
You're a detail-oriented professional with excellent analytical abilities and a passion for delivering exceptional service. Your collaborative approach and continuous improvement mindset enable you to work effectively in a global team environment. You take ownership of your responsibilities and consistently strive for excellence while building strong relationships with stakeholders.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Actuarial Sciences, Finance, Accounting, Insurance or related fields
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in broker or (re)insurance company
- Strong numerical aptitude with proficiency in Excel
- Advanced English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multicultural and cross-functional teams, including virtual environments
These are additional nice to haves:
- Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools
- Experience with Power Automate
- Ability to challenge the status quo and propose innovative solutions
- Experience managing multiple business partners across different cultures and functions.
