Description
Description: This is a 12-hour shift 3 days each week, with the shift schedule being from 18:00-06:30, total of 36 hours per week. RN ICU with Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification , Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), 2 professional references. The all-inclusive hourly non-local pay rate for this position is $58.97/hr, encompassing a taxable component of $44.13/hr, along with a per diem of $14.83/hr. Local rate (Below 60 Miles):$51.10/hr.Rate: $51.1 / hour
Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Active unencumbered Registered Nurse state Iowa license or compact license
- Graduate from a fully accredited Registered Nurse program
- Two years of work experience in RN Critical Care
- One year of Epic experience
- Associates Degree in Nursing (RN)
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
- Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
- Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
- Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
- Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
- A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
- Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
Requirements:
• COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
Responsibilities:
- Providing nursing care to acutely or critically ill patients with an assigned unit or clinic;
- Implementing medical care plans;
- Directing and supervising the patient care provided by nursing personnel assigned to the unit;
- Maintaining standard unit activities in the absence of the Head Nurse; and
- Performing other related duties as assigned/required.
