Camp Manitou is a residential summer camp in Oakland, Maine for boys ages 8-15. It is a premier boys camp in the beautiful Belgrade Lakes region of Maine. Manitou prides itself on a state of the art camping facility with an unmatched variety of programs.

Manitou employs a large, experienced staff of over 220 adults to care for its 370 campers. While most of our counselors are returnees, new additions are always warmly welcomed.

    Full-time, summer nurse position for approximately 8 weeks (June 9 - August 5). Nurses manage the overall health and wellness of our camp population, administer meds, triage injuries and illnesses, and escort campers into town for appointments or ER/Urgent Care visits. Our team of ten nurses each live in private bedrooms adjacent to our air-conditioned health center. Nurses will work on a rotating schedule with weekly days off.
